Firefox already comes with a smashing full list of keyboard shortcuts for mouseless browsing, but here is a firefox extension which takes mouseless browsing (MLB) to the next level. Next post: Distraction free writing in Vim with Goyo.Previous post: How to automatically hide your mouse cursor.I’m perhaps way too spoiled with the most polished Vi-like web browser out there. I just recently ported my modest alternative to those extensions to WebExtensions, and figured that some of the people on lobste.rs could find this useful, at least until. I find all the features and the somewhat massive graphical user interface rather distracting.Īnd even if I have some issues with the web engine, it does get the job done, and I guess that I can’t use anything else than qutebrowser after all these years with it now. As most of you know, Firefox will soon drop support for legacy extensions, and Vimperator, Pentadactyl, and Mouseless Browsing are all incompatible with Firefox 57. It can be used to speed things in Firefox while using a keyboard and mouse or exclusively in situations where no mouse is at hand or where it is not practical to use a computer mouse. This forced me to move my right hand over to the mouse, and then click on any dead area on the website to be able to use the keybindings. Mouseless Browsing is a Firefox add-on that can aid you in all of the scenarios mentioned above.
